Setting Up A Dripper System

Hello guys,

Im changing my system from pots full of coco, fed by hand, to ROCKWOOL slabs FED BY A DRIPPER SYSTEM.

- need a little advice on dripper times -

I have 4 PLANTS TO A SLAB (with a dripper to each plant), and 5 SLABS to a 1 meter tray, with a 600watt above the tray,

- res, pump, etc etc all sorted,

- NEED TO KNOW HOW MANY TIMES TO FEED THE PLANTS PER DAY (only when lights on)
AND FOR HOW LONG EACH FEED ????

I have been advised to start at 1 TIME PER DAY FOR 1 MINUTE for week 1 of 12/12

Then 2 OR 3 TIMERS PER DAY, FOR ONE MINUTE in the second week

etc etc until, by week 8 they are being fed 10 TIMES PER DAY, FOR 1 MINUTE

Does this sound ok ?

Heard a few other things, so any advice would be much appreciated..

What an ingenious Idea. quick question for you also. What excatly do ya mean by dripper system, did u rig it yourself or did you purchase this item?

im not too familiar with drip systems but i thought they constantly dripped the nutrient solution...?

also, thats quite a few plants per 1 meter area.. since you have an HPS id recommend 12/12 from seed. it would be perfect for it.
