Pictures of CFL Grow- 2 Weeks.

This is Ava. I just set up new lighting structure for her, so I hope she likes it. Seems to be growing happily...
You can see that two of the leaves are drooping. I am not sure why this is.....??
She isn't over-watered, the soil is moist, but not close to being considered "wet."

How soon from this point can I start with nutes? I have some MG all purpose plant food...

HaHa. I'm using the exact same fertilizer except only I'm using superthrive with it. Be careful with the miracle grow though man. I mixed a little to much and used it a little to often so it like dried my leaves and they folded up. I'm hoping a little fresh water will refuel them without dieing. ut anyways good luck with your grow.

Hey man. Watch out with the mg. You have the all-purpose and with that high of a nitrogen count you'll only want to use that while you're vegging your plant. Go back to walmart and get the box next to it called bloom booster for flowering. Or something with less than 5 nitrogen (N-P-K) but perferrably 0.

And take that paper out. It just attracts moisture.

And maybe so beer can reflectors for the lights?

I made the mistake and fertilized 10 or so days into mine and they looked like yours until I heavily watered them. I am not going to risk fertilizing again until they are at 1 month.

Well, I haven't given her any nutes, as of yet. I am waiting 'til she's a bit bigger and stronger. In those pics, she was drooping quite heavily...and she drooped even more as time went by... But, right now, I have the lights off so she can get some sleep, and she seems to have perked directly back up. ??????
I won't be starting with the MG for at least a week or maybe a few days longer...
I also need to buy more lights. There is a 400w HPS and a 400w MH at my local true value...but, they don't seem to have any kind of ballast or fixtures for the bulbs. I looked everywhere...lights/appliances, aquarium lighting......where can I find one of these without ordering online?
Also, I found something called a Medium to Mogul Base Adapter...or something along those lines...is this something that I can put an HPS or MH in? Without any ballasts?
I don't understand why they would create such a thing if you couldn't do that...

Tell me if I'm wrong, please. Because it would be rad if all I had to buy were the bulbs and that adapter.

Unfortunatly you will need the ballast or the bulb will simply not work. I know you may not want to ordr online but if you check out ebay they have some very nice ballast for pretty cheap prices compared to retail vale of them.

Also, I need help. My plant seems to be getting a couple browning spots on the leaves...does it need nutes? Or is it just being burned or something??

One 26w CFL and two 18w CFLS between 1 and 3 inches from plant.

not sure here but if your in veg stage (which i dont know what your schedule is for your plant) then its looks from the pictures your using the wrong color bulb, they look like the cfl's needed for flowering, you may need the white/blue spectrum for veg growth... sorry if the pics fooled my eyes and i was wrong tho good luck!
