Help Cloning/Flower Technique
Hello everyone,
I am trying to decide what process I should use to determine the sex of my plants and clone them. I have 12 healthy plants in veg (5 of which are Blue Mystic from Nirvana). My largest plants are about 4/5 inches tall with many sets of leaves. They are all growing and I have began to transplant them into larger containers. I have two areas (one for veg and one for flower) and am trying to decide how to go forward. Should I allow the plants to reach about 7/8 inches tall and cut clones from all of them, flower them until they show sex while keeping the mothers in my veg room? Should I force all the plants into 12/12 to show me their sex and then take clones and reveg the females? If anyone has advise for me I would greatly appreciate it. Thanks!

What I would do personally, and what I have done in the past, is to take two clones of everything when you begin flowering, very carefully labeling them so you always know which plant they came from, then destroy the male clones at the same time you destroy whichever plants of your grow are male.

So I should go ahead and attempt to clone one of the larger top leaves or a lower middle leaf? At what age do you think I should take a clone to determine sex?
Thank you!
