How much during last 2 weeks?

Hey guys/girls

I'm on my 8th week flowering 4 ppp and 4 ww from white label and i got a question. Every1 says that buds get most of their weight during the last 2 weeks, well i just entered these last 2 weeks and i'm wondering how much more should i expect? Trichs range from 20% clear - 80% milky to 90% milky - 10% amber. I like the high i got from a ppp that i tested, how much do u reckon i'll lose if i harvest now? (in percentages ofc)

BKKG I think he knows about Trich color, he's asking if he harvests now (knowing the colors), how much bud would he sacrifice instead of waiting another 2 weeks. Remember hes talking about weight (grams), not trich color / maturity.

Whoops! Good point. In that case, I think I can give a better answer. Bud weight is less important than "readiness" of the plant, which is determined by the color of the trichomes. If you wait too long (and too many of the trichs are amber), even if the buds get bigger they'll start to drop in potency, and if only up to 10% of your trichs are clear still then I don't know if your plants have 2 weeks left in them before that happens. The fact that your trichs are 80% cloudy (although I'm not sure I quite understand how your percentages add up) suggests to me that they're already pretty close to the end of their flowering cycle, and won't get that much bigger. I don't think that you'll lose that much in terms of weight at this point, and so if you like the head high more than the body high I say harvest away. Of course, other people may disagree, so don't just take my word for it

thanx m8, i got the same answer from several sources. I think i'm gonna wait another week tho for the lower buds to catch up a bit and to c for myself IF they do get any bigger (i'm curious,since its my first grow )

Btw, is it possible to have clear, milky and amber on the same leaf? cause a couple of my pp are like that atm (main cola)

If that's how the trich's are, then it must be possible lol But yes, it makes sense for the trichs to change color by region rather than the whole leaf's worth at once. That's why we judge harvest time by having a certain percentage of trichs that are the color you want, because they won't all change at the same time.
