Well here's an update!

While I wasn't able to go out and buy a pH meter just yet (very hard to find them here)... I did do a simple chemical soil test... and According to that, the soil was overly Alkaline (pH of 8 or over, it seemed).

SO I went out to the shop, and bout some good soil. This stuff is great, drains water very well but still holds it enough, It's a lot lighter than the straight mud/dirt stuff I used before, made of finely ground moss/dirt mix, with various other things in it, and it has a good level of perlite in it.
It's also supposedly naturally pH balanced, and has some natural sea-based nutrient already in the soil. So hopefully I should be all set for a while now.

I transplanted them during the weekend, and they're already doing a lot better!

The lights are roughly 3 to 4 inches from the tops of the plants, closer to 4 for now, since I can't lower the lights much more. They'll grow into it. lol

I also added a fan to the room, which keeps the plants gently moving a little... So that should take care of the overly thin stem problem I had.

I'm still trying to get a pH meter, so that I can more easily test things if need be...
And as well, after another good watering cycle or so, I'll start to look into nutrients... I'm gonna give this soil some time before I give it any nutes though, I want to make sure the soil wont have too much in it already.
I have a nutrient soil test, Which I'll use before I do anything new with nutrients.

Pictures attached, notice the quarter for size scale, if the lights don't already do that.

btw, Transplanting the plants, was a lot easier than I expected... I can't believe people think that might stress out the plant...

The thing is, it can and will stress a plant in a lot of cases. Transplanting is easy... although recovering a stressed plant isn't hard either (it just takes some time and a little time, maybe some Superthrive or other rooting/transplanting solution if you've got it). If it should happen one of these times, don't worry, just let it be...

They're just almost a full month old now. And I have no idea of their strain, they were just 3 bag-seeds, and 1 seed which I was told was from a very good plant (the bushiest plant oddly enough).

Just another update:

I've decided to LST at least 1 plant. Maybe others if they turn out to be good for that, after a little more growth. Otherwise I'll just top the rest of them like crazy.

So anyway, here's my freshly bent down LST plant.

Here's a new BIG update!
Just want to let everyone see how big my plants have gotten already!
I've added two bigger, higher watt daylight CFLs, ~40w, over the 2 middle plants. I'll be swapping in my 2 smaller plants under those bigger lights later, so they get more light too.

So here's the picture! Let me know what you think, if you see this! ^_~
