Expert Advise on Smell

Hello Everyone, I want to start off by saying that I really appreciate anyone's opinion and ideas on this question. I'm a first timer looking to grow in an airtight closet (11x11). My BIGGEST concern is the smell. I really have no clue how strong it will be. I will be venting my air through to the outside of my home but the problem is..I have a cop that lives 2 houses up the street (40-50 yards away). By the time the air hits the outside of my house..will I be safe??? How bad will it smell?? This has got my stressin guys..I cant even sleep over it and I'm ready to get rolling once I figure it out :-) Thanks for your time guys!

P.S. 10-15 plants will be grown (Hopefully) lol- seeds are on their way

I don't mean to hi-jack this thread but what can I do for the smell in my closet? I can not drill any holes or anything like that as I am under lease. I don't have a fortune to spend either.

Thanks for the advise guys...I will go balls to the walls with the filters in hopes that 5-0 up the street doesnt smell anything. I would hate to put in all this work and have to destroy it because of the smell leaving the house.

Yeah, Tommy, a Carbon filter would be really good. I'm SOOO paranoid because about 6 inches through the wall from my grow is a detectives bedroom and I don't have a carbon filter, so a carbon filter will definately reduce a lot of the paranoia from growing.

Wow, you guys growing next to cops got balls. You should look into medical marijuana recommendations if they are available in your area. Also, I have used Carbonaire brand carbon filters for almost ten years now and they work wonders. Besides, the smell doesn't get out of hand until the end of the cycle usually, unless you are using the SOG method with mature plants every two weeks or so. I would cut holes in the room and exaust with a carbon scrubber even if in a lease; just fix it before you move. Make sure you control the noise of airflow if you are attached to another resident...especially a cop!
