Possible to run 2 lights on a circuit?

Hi there,

Just wanna know if any of you guys have ran a 400mh and a 1000 hps on a 15/20 amp circuit? (without blowing a fuse all the time)

My understanding is the average U.S.A household breakers are at 85% capacity [the amound you don't want to exceed] at 1925 watts.

would you know how much watts the 1000 hps and 400 takes to start up?

and would you know how many amps a single elicient 150b fan uses (i have 3 in my room)

setup: 2 homebox xl's (4x4x7, fitted with a single fan each); 3'x10" scrubber (with a fan); closet with 4x 4' t5 lamps...is this setup possible on a single 20A circuit?

dont push it!

you may be able to pull it off fine, but it can be risky

if you're blowing the fuse at all, unplug something. if you need everything you have, but are still blowing the breakers, its just not worth risking. go to home depot and pick up their electrical how to book (you dont even have to buy it, its short enough to read there if you have the time) and read up on an alternative way. Either install another breaker its not too hard, or run a fat extension cord.

Umm A 1000 watt light uses 1000 watts. So you could probably get a 1000 watt hps, a 400 watt hps and a couple of good size fans in there and be OK. But definitely take Unclenugs advice and don't push it. If breakers start popping you have too much on there. Don't know about the amps on that fan I would imagine it is 15 amp like most other household items.

thanks for the words of wisdom....i haven't blown any fuses yet...but then again, i haven't turned both lights on either and i don't think i will now, its an older building so i really don't trust the wires in the wall (always planning ahead) ...i've gone back to the drawing board so that i wouldn't have to run the 400mh and came up with running both homeboxes on a power relay so that i can use just one ballast running 24hrs and omit the use of the 400....this is what i came up with:
Since i have the BC sweet tooth strain (6 wk strain frm BC Bud Depot) i will be running a perpetual harvest (every 3 wks something is harvested) as i have seen that this strain is best grown using the SOG method...I will be cloning from clones and veggin for a week under the floros, which should take about 3 wks anyways.

just transplanted yesterday unfortuneately no pics as of yet...will post sometime this week...
