Do you think this will work?

I have major space, height and heat issues with my planned grow so I will be using a small 75cm X 75cm X 1m tall grow tent with 2 X 125w envirolights (fluro), growing organically in soil (Bio Bizz All-mix and associated nute package). I am planning on starting out with lowryder 2 and have bought 5 fem seeds.

Should I just try 2 plants at 1st, and as the plants autoflower should I switch to the red biased (flowering) fluro bulb as soon as they show pre-flowers? I beleive that the auto flowering process effectively bypasses the veg stage so I don't have to use the blue biased bulbs for so long? Would this also apply to the different feeds (Grow and Bloom)?

This is my 1st grow after years of wanting to do it so any help at all will be appreciated. I might even start a journal if anyone is interested. I posted a similar message on a different forum but no-one replied, so I'm hoping this forum is more active.

By the sound of it you should do fine, I grow lowryder in a 1mX1mX1m and use 2X200w CFL's so I shouldn't see you having any problems. I do hope you have some kind of ventilation fan.

As for how many you should grow it depends on if you have any experience. My guess is it's your 1st grow so I'd start with 2. If all goes OK and you don't kill em you can just plant one 4 weeks later and just keep doing that till all the seeds are done. Make for a nice harvest every 4 weeks.

Lights are an issue and I start all my plants on blue light swapping over to red only when I see signs of sex. But then you can start them off with red if that's all you have, they just might be a lil small.

Check out my grow AK47 X Blueberry Auto F1 + LR #2 all auto flowering and should have some dieselryder after this grow.

Nice one G'kar, you've just confirmed what I was thinking. I will switch to red bulbs as soon as flowering starts. I will not have dedicated extraction at first due to cost and stealth requirements but I will have 2 x 6 inch fans in the cab for air circulation. I can also open the cab if needed, and the room the cab is in can be air-conditioned and de-humidified if required. I have a thermometer and a humidity meter.

This is my 1st grow so I am expecting mistakes, but I want to minimize these as much as possible.

Oh, and your auto AK grow sound and looks cool. I may try that at a later date.

i just about to setup a 5 fem lowryder grow.

5 x4 gallon pots for seedlings with organic soil and bat guano mix.
1X125 BLUE CFL(KEPT ON 18 HOURS
1X 200W RED CFL(KEPT ON 18 HOURS
1 XPANEL OF 225 LEDS MIXED(RED AND BLUE)(KEPT ON 24 HOURS)
1X 6 INCH FAN(KEPT ON AS SOON AS THE 1ST SET OF LEAVES APPEAR

GONNA FEED JUST FEED THEM PH BALANCED WATER FROM SPROUT TO 3 WEEKS
AS MY SOIL MIX SHOULD TAKE CARE OF NUTES, THEN GIVE THEM TIGER BLOOM FOR THE NEXT FOUR WEEKS, THEN FLUSH THEM THE REMAINING 2 WEEKS.

THIS METHOD ALWAYS WORKS FOR ME
TRY KEEP THE TEMP STABLE AND DONT OVER WATER
THEY ARE PRETTY STURDY WEE PLANTS.

Sorry to ask such a noob question, but what is flushing? Does that mean just giving them water so there is no nute residue in the buds?

I have the same lights blue and red spectrum, with lowryder you use red spectrum straight away dont wait for pre flowers just straight to red spectrum and dont feed for atleast 2 weeks and yes this will deffinately work, keep your eye on the temp GL mate. check out my journal please and leave some feedback
