FOXFARM - what do I do with this shit?

I have 2 liquid ferts my friend gave me, one is GRO BIG - for veg and another bottle for flowering... my plants just about 2 weeks old now and I figured I should add ferts


How should I go about adding it to a soil grow? I water my plants from a gallon of distilled water... im assumign I just add it into there right?



Should I test the PH first? I don't have a meter and Don't have any money for one but Im pretty sure i could find a way to get one......

Yes add the ferts to your water then check the PH. The ferts will lower it. Start at a half or quarter dose at first and work your way up to a full dose if your plant isn't getting nutrient burn. You can get a $5 PH test kit from the pet supplies at Walmart.

Do NOT give your plants nutes yet. Way too young. There should be a feeding guide on the bottle. If not, got to fox farm's website,you will find a feeding schedule there. Just cut the amount to 1/4-1/2 of what they say. If it calls for 2 teaspoons, add 1, maybe a little less. Feed every other watering at most. DO NOT overfeed.
It's easier to add nutes. Not so easy to take them away. And yes, just put them in to the distilled water and stir or shake.

If you are using distilled water, ph should not be a problem. I have not had 1 single ph issue since switching to all distilled.

I know you have Grow Big, but what is the other called? If it's Big Bloom, then it can and should be used during veg also. Tiger Bloom is the 1 you want for flowering.

You're OK to feed them after the end of the 2nd week especially cause you're using organic ferts. Just follow the instructions on the BioBizz bottle or website.

We are a lil over 10 weeks old with ours and we are using FF Grow Big(veg), FF Tiger Bloom(Flower), and FF Big Bloom(Flower)... we started about 2 and half weeks after sprout on ours at 1/4 teaspoon per gallon of water - Grow Big of course. We did that, then the next time watered regular water, then the next time went with 1/2 teaspoon per gallon, then next watered regular, then the next time we went 1 teaspoon per gallon, regular water, 1 teaspoon per gallon etc... until we started flowering. Good Luck, FF has been great. I don't know if it is the strain we are using or what, but for flowering our plants enjoy the Big Bloom a lot better. We also found it is okay to gradually switch from one fert to the other without putting too much stress on the plants.


edit: btw, since you didn't mention it, what is the name of the flowering fert he gave you?
