NO NO NO

This stuff is crap for seedlings
Your plants will grow to about the 3rd node and wilt after.

its working for me im at almost 4 weeks have 4 nodes and no wilting or dying things are looking strong i haven't even been feeding her i don't like the idea of using chemicals
the only thing ive noticed and its probably the problem haunther had you have to be careful not to over water. the top layer will get dry but the soil around the roots will still be soaked i water every other day some times every 3 days i just make sure the soil is almost completely dry when before i water again

check out the journal

Ditto, except it's crap during any stage of the plants life. Different strains will react differently. There may be a few that like the MG shit, but most do not.

If you need to go cheap, just get a 2.2 cu.ft. bag of peat moss, (2 for $11 at Menards), a bag of Fox Farm planting mix, and some perlite. Use the peat mixed with 25-30% perlite for the younguns. You can transplant to a 25% FF, 25% perlite, 50% peat mixture, and start giving them nutes when they get to be 25-30 days old.

That would cost you about $45 total, but that's enough soil to last quite a while. If you are just doing a couple plants at a time, it'll last for a very long time.

I've been trying different soil mixtures to keep the costs down. I still haven't found a perfect cheap mixture, but the above has given me the most success. I went with just peat and perlite w/minimal FF nutes, and my yield suffered more than expected. The quality and taste were excellent, but I went from 5-7 oz. per plant (Jack Herer), to 3-4 oz. per.

Even my Sweet Tooth and Hindu Kush suffered a little. I went from 2-2 1/2 oz. per HK down to 1 1/4 oz. The Sweet wasn't as bad, about a 1/2oz. drop, if that, but it grows with little or no help. A great beginner plant.

The MG "feeds for three months" is crap. Do. Not. Want.

The brown bag 'organic' seems to be OK so far. I've got 4 early girls about 6 weeks old-thick stems, 18 inches tall, about 8-9 nodes, without a blemish.

I mixed 6 bags of MG organic, 2 bags of peat moss, 3 bags of perlite(shoulda used 4), 1 gallon of worm castings, 1 lb of bat guano. It filled 6, 5 gallon buckets; cost me about 55 bucks.

This is exactly what has happened to mine. Although this is my 1st grow and as it seems I have done almost everything I could do wrong to kill my plants. I have been over watering because the soil seems dry but it isnt. I was using flowering lights since seed and just realized it today after 18 days. I used peat pots to start them. I had the lights too far away and not enough lumens......but they are hangin in there.

the organic shyt is bangin, i don't know what these cats are talkin about.
no chems in the natural stuff either..and the NPK is almost non-existent.
personally, i like to mix 1/2 part dirt with 1/4 part perlite and 1/4 part vermiculite.
makes a nice, airy soil for them roots to thrive in!

damn it seems like either people love it or hate it, there doesn't seem to be any "wiggle room"

honestly fam, i think the heads who outed this stuff we're talking out their asses.
i don't blame people for jumping to conclusions about "miracle grow" products
rest assured though, as long as you stick to the organic choice you should be fine..
but throw in a lil perlite, to aerate the stuff..it get's pretty compacted otherwise!!
don't wanna suffocate those roots
