hps lighting help

heres my problem i got a 400 wat system from htgsupply.com it cam with 2 V things i know were to put those but how do i connect the chain to it so i can move it up or down please help

If I read that right what you need is 2 hooks that you can screw into lets say a 2x4 at the top of your frame, the you slide the links over the hooks at the disiered hight.

Hope that makes sense, though I may not have understood your needs correctly.

you'll need2 open the chain where its going 2b connected to your reflector holdings.

bit of brute strength mate, just get pliers & screwdriver & prize the link open enough so will fit onto the holdings on your reflector & your in
plus put a screw link attached to top of grow room for links just to clip on, but its the reflector connections which you need2 open then attach links.

What is the problem? Is it put together and now needs to be put up? And you need to know how to attach the chains? Or is it not quite put together yet and needs to be finished?

it just needs to be put up i have 2 Vs that c0nnect to my hood just dont know how to rig the hain so i can raise and lower

Put two hooks in your ceiling (reinforced) or frame if you have one. Pick up your hood by the chains (the "v" things) so that the light is about the right height when your hands are by the 2 hooks and place the links of the chain you are holding on the hooks. If you need it higher let some slack out of the chains and rehook them on a new link; lower it by doing the opposite. I don't know... it's hard to explain in great detail. If you can't figure it out, go to Youtube and look up some guides.
