humidity traps

ok my friend told me that if you have small containers with holes on top with small amounts of salt water when that is evaporated into the air it can give the weed a sort of pacific weed taste..i would think that would dehydrate the plant or just not do anything can some1 get back to me cuz if it will work i would love to try that..

I do not know, or have any evidence. But I really don't think that will work. For example, people put vinegar, or good smelly gels to make the plants not smell in their house, and they don't smell like vinegar, or lavender. Sometimes people grow garlic in the same room to make it not smell like weed, and it doesn't taste like garlic...see what im saying. It's not like the plant will absorb the sea salt in the air, only water evaporates.
