computer monitored thermometer/hygrometer?

Hi Yall, I am currently in the process of trying to setup a grow cab. My cab is outdoors in my tool shed. What I am looking to do is find hardware/software to monitor the temps in my grow from my computer, and have it record lows and high temps and humidity.

Is there such a thing? Where can I find something like this?

that would be pretty damn sweet. being the simpleton i am i would just a run a line to the thermostat underground into the house. i would be asking in a mac forum if i were you. the nerds that hang around there would know for sure.

I would rethink growing in a shed. Just a security thing... if you have any neighbors, you could have eyes that pry. Neighborhood kids are usually pretty good at finding out when something's up, and they LOVE free weed in the middle of the night. Just a kind word of caution...

Thanks for the "kind word of caution" ill keep that in mind but, the shed is locked and the cab is locked.

Word man. My neighboor kid jumped my fence in broad fuckin daylight to jack some buds off my plant. He got ballsy and my lil sis said word on the bus was after that he wanted to take my whole plant, FUCKIN RIPPERS. So I told his dad he was smokin weed and jumped my fence to steal some from my plant. He got sent to rehab a few months later heheheh fucker.

Edit: PS. That would be totally cool, I have pipe dreams about rigging up a house I could controle from the a secure internet conection, and never have to actually be at the house except once or twice amonth. Pipe dreams man pipe dreams, but where theres a will theres a way.
