Help!!!!!

I live in az and its really fucking hot out here. i have my plants in my attic. and one of my plants is really starting to wilt and die... all the leaves from halfway down the plant are folding over... but my other plant right next to it is completely fine... whats going on!?

If there is a really drastic difference between the 2 if could be from over/under watering.

yeah i think thats what it might be. also i think the plants are two different plants cuz one plant is DARK green and one is LIGHT LIGHT green. and they have been that way the entire grow phase. And its really hot in my attic so i think its causing the one plant to suck up water faster than the other. Cuz within watering the plant. the leaves lifted on the top...is it ok that i cut off all the wilting dead leaves on the bottom... now litereally the bottom two inches of the plant have no foliage is that bad!?
