Can you predict if a plant is going to be female?

I'm growing a plant and it just seems to be a female, very short and bushy.

Short and bushy is no female guarantee. I had six plants in veg, the shortest and bushiest of them all was a male.

short and bushy is usually an indica trait, not a sex trait.

Good post.

But if you really wont advise on your plant you need to give more info on your setup(growing enviorment).Age of the plant/feeding/watering times etc.

There are some people who believe that the proper environment can have an effect which will lower stress and give you a better chance at female, however I believe it is pre determined in genetics and breeding.

how you treat a plant does not make it male or female. That is in fact ridiculous, If I watch sports with my pregnant wife will that garantee my a son, of course not. The seed was genetically "programed" to be what sex and how much bud it will produce. Methods like scrog and lst unlock, if you will, the plants ability to produce more bud but in fact plant will only produc X amount of bud. According to the science of it. I have read and studied alot about this and have come to this conclusion.

voodoo

I strongly agree with the last three posts.

I wish people would get it out of their head that they can change the sex of a seed or plant.

We should stop practicing voodoo on our plants and start practicing science.

I dunno, voodoo sounds kinda like fun. Make a zombie plant and have if it turns out right you can just put it next to other plants and by next morning POW, legion of zombie weed.
