Mylar tip

This ones for people on a low budget, the inside of bags of chips is mylar (the reflective ones, i know lays has an all white bag now) Im munchin down on a bag of sun chips right now, gunna remove the tinfoal i put up and line it with the bag.

or you could jsut paint the interior of your growspace with flat white paint and it reflects even better than mylar and is probably cheaper than saving all your bags and less hassle.

Mylar is more reflective.

i like where your head is at; but at 20 dollars a roll of mylar. it makes more sense just to buy the friggin mylar, instead of 100 bags of 3 dollar chips to cover the same space

Shit, i got some mylar in packaging that is bent in the middle kinda roughed up but i could send it to you for maybe..$10

I'm almost positive those chip bags would cause hot spots

actually they are very close I think flat white is like 95% reflective and mylar is 98%. So not far enough apart to warrant the use of expensive mylar unless you are using chip bags LOL.

i dont think flat white is 95%, i read it was about 80.

thats a great idea with the crisp packet if it works and doesnt create hot spots, i wana see someone do it now lol

no flat white is around 75%- 85% whereas mylar is around 95%+
so as your yield will increase with the reflection off your walls by 30%+ its worth getting mylar if within your budget.

diamond cut mylar is 98% plus gives off no hot spots like most other types of mylar.

thats genius! i swear, the bp by my grow spot sells 25 cent bags of "Nachitas" (lol.. off brand doritos) im about to go buy like thirty bags and line my boxes. (just hope it dont make my plants smell like processed cheddar)
