Whats up guys and gals. I don't have access to a camera right now but asap ill get some pics up so i can get some suggestions and input.

my setup consists of the following:
i have an estimated 1x3x6' closet that has been used for previous operations.
I have a Vortex fan which cancels out all that heat that my 400 watt metal halide/hps light generates. Every side of the closet excluding the door has a 4' flourescent running vertically. Im doing a soil grow right now because my last hydro attempt turned bad. I have a local sour diesel clone that i got rooted for about 20 beans. it has grown about 1.5' and to the point where i have taken about 9 cuttings or so. Im in the process of cloning the diesel and sprouting my blue cheese seeds from the barnies seed bank, hoping that the three will sprout at around the same time the clones root. My metal halide bulb is malfunctioning so i put in my hps bulb instead. will it stress the plants from going to different kinds of light? I have the clones in the dome rooting in soil. I used hormone and planted most in miracle grow seed starter which also enhances root growth. i dont really like mg but fck it it was all the hardware store had that seemed best. Ive been using foxfarm growbig for veg. A couple cuttings are in rockwool. Been sprayin em, airin it out, and keeping my little babies safe. I put tinfoil over the top of the dome and poked holes in it assuming that blocking some of those strong rays is would be good. Do you agree? because i dont have a place to put it where the is any sufficient light. Knowing what you know now...how would you go about this grow. Im the first one to tell you im not an "expert" so anyting im doing wrong please tell me whatsup. Thanks everyone

im just using the tinfoil to block out some light for my clones that are in the process of rooting

i've neer heard of doing that. has it worked for you so far?
do you have a control group of clones outside the foil?

ive only had the clones for about 3 days. i have about 9 or something in the dome. I covered the clear cover with tinfoil with holes to allow a little light but i think that my hps will be too much light for them to root. if im wrong someone please tell me. anyone else got nything to say

i have one mother diesel that im trying to bush up and ill probably plant it outside when the time is right or ill flower the clones on the smaller side and keep that one growin huge cause i got about 7 ft of vertical space that i can use. i wanna maximize the yield so any input on how i should set it up. is there any way or me to fit a veg room in this closet? sorry about the pics i jsut realized how shitty they werei was fucked up on valium and some of my boys homegrown lasntihgt.

What's the farthest away from the HPS your clone dome can sit? Just for your consideration, I used to keep 15 clones at a time (in rockwool in a dome) under a 42w cool white CFL in a desk lamp. Worked without any effort other than a spray a day. Small investment, sound return.
