cheap CO2

Hello everyone,

I was thinking about a cheap way to use CO2 on your plants. On ebay they sell a box of 16 12-Gram CO2 cartridges for less than $5 per box for disposable use in paint ball. I am curious if I was able to use a whippet hand cracker to leak these into a balloon and blew the CO2 onto plants, if it would help the plants?

One could blow 200 grams of CO2 over a weeks time, every week for $5 per week.

Any thoughts?

Been wanting to try this think I may have to go experiment with it see if its worth while, maybe release a couple at a time real close to the plants. In the long run it's gotta be more costly than a tank though.

to me, $5 a week seems like it would be money leakage... if your going to be growing for a year straight, a C02 generator would have paid for itself if your still spending $5/week on c02 cartridges... just a little food for thought

Unless your room is completley sealed and you hae a temp/humidity/co2 controller, you would be wasting your money and time.
