10,000k lighting

so i just got some coral life lights...
they push 10,000k out a 40w florecent bulb...
does anyone have any clue how many lumens these lights have?
has anyone ever heard of them being used?

None of that info is relavent when you are useing them to grow with, you need to find out how many lumons they are putting out, wattage doesnt matter and the energy saveing bulbs are usualy never a good thing.
There is a chart on here somewhere to help you figure out how many lumons a fluro is putting out, it should say somewhere on the package though.

10,000K is whiter than the 6,500K bulb that you need my man. coral-life is just the brand thats for fish tanks, fish tanks uasually have color tempratures of 10,000-20,000K ...

Check this out it should clear it up.......

10,000k is pushing it, usually you want something around 6500k for veg and 2700k for flower, so i'm not sure how good that light will be for flowering, could be too white.
