Agreed 100%! I get the impression that people get tired of seeing the same posts, the same questions, and the same thoughtless requests to the point where they automatically brush off anyone new. But the threads ARE going to get repetitious on growing weed. There are only so many new subjects. Anyways, we have to protect the forums we're on from riff-raff, but not at the expense of gaining new opinions. It would be nice if people could post until they prove themselves to be know-nothing asses instead of it being assumed by a low post-count.

Well Enuff, I am in a similar position. I am doing a complete 100% organic grow (not crazy craz like having my own Worm Box, Compost, bat cave to get guano, kelp farm, and a flock of sea bird etc). I have done a lot of research and hopefully what I have book marked can help you Yes, there are alot of ppl who do not know what they are talking about BUT just take it it with a grain of salt. I'm kind of surprised how few threads seem to address organics. Do people prefer 4oz of chemical weed then 3.5oz of earth buds? I would really like to see a side-by-side chen/organic shootout...

Agreed Enuff... esp if a person have both organics and chemical methods "dialed in." That would be hella of a show. Chem. ferts vs. Organics+Teas would be a very very nice show, but one would have to think long and hard on which hydroponic way they would use Chem nutes (do they have chem nutes that are soil friendly??).

When it comes to guanos, are you able to place a layer on the top of your soil and have it feed down with each watering? If so, I may try to do so when flowering begins with some Nitrogen-rich stuff, then use high Phosphorus tea until flush time.

So what's the scoop? Are we able to top-dress with things? Not just guanos but any soil amendments? I'm specifically curious to know if top-dressing with fish bone meal will release any free phosphorus into the soil.

You can top dress with most things(from what I have read) but it will take longer to leech down into the root zone. Other than that I'm not sure... sry I'm not more help. I would assume if the bonemeal,guano, whatever was mixed into the soil (and let "cook" for a few weeks) the micro-heard would be able to break down the ingredient and the nutrients be available to the plant sooner than just top dressing and allowing it to slowly leech down into the soil. Finals week... hope that helps some.

I just started using only organic nutes, and tea for every watering.
From what I have tryed so far, top dressing doesn't do much, I did this for about 3 weeks and just added water, and there was not much of a reaction.
I made my first tea and watered last night and the plant reacted positively within 12 hours; I only used forrest humus, worm humus, and molasses.

I used this link to make my tea since I got no response to threads I opened here, nor did I find anything helpful searching here.

PS. I don't understand why people like joxter spend so much time busting balls, when they could actually help somebody by giving an answer or just not responding at all if they don't know shit.
