Im currently following the Canna schedule from the canna website, which has always produced good results and potency of the highest order...one thing I can never understand though is this....

I'm using an 8o litre water barrell, the schedule says to add 240ml of canna flores a&b for the stage that I am in, which I have measured, and also measured out the rhyzotonic, cannazym and cannaboost as per the schedule...the schedule says my CF should then be 21 (EC 2.1)...

my food stick actually reads 14-16CF (EC 1.4/1.6).

whats the most important thing to get right here? measuring the nutes out right or obtaining the correct cf level CF/EC?

(Im currently 3 weeks into flowering).

I keep the EC right, it also depends on what your plants can take in also. I slightly increase the EC at top up time of the res, if i see nute burn, i decrease slightly and that gives me a max to go by.

I tell if the plants are taking in the nutes by a slight rise in PH and obviuosly a drop on the Nute EC. If my PH goes up and EC hasnt really dropped then i find they are drinking more water than nutes and adjust.

I use the same nutes and found the canna recommendations are a bit on the heavy side, i usually dont go above 1.5, but i know guys who go upto 2.
