I've read many posts and know that people are using the aerodarden to grow - but I can't figure out how to get the lights to go 12/12??

I have had one clone in my aerogarden for 3 weeks and need to go to 12/12 so I can finish in May. I'll start flowering with the standard hood lights, then transfer to my main cab and an HPS system in thee weeks (when my other soil grow is done).

I could unplug the lights every day, but wondered if there was a better way to get 12/12??

I am not too familiar with the aereo garden, and it might have a built in option, however if the lights are the only thing run by the electricity, or anything non mandatory to have, just purchase an indoor timer and set it to 12/12

I Also Use An Aero Garden And I Have Your Awnser. Go Get An Old Plug To A Radio It Will Fit Right Into Where Your Base Plugs Into Your Light And You Plug That Into A Timer You Can Get At Wally World And Set It To 12/12 And Plug It In And Put Your Base On Salad Greens To Get The Pump To Run 24/7 .

Yes, do what bud_wiser said. The cord you need is called a "figure 8 cable". Just unplug the one that goes to your lights and put the new one on so the pump and the lights are on different cords. Then plug the one to your lights into a timer. I just finished a grow of Auto AK47 in the Aerogarden. Worked perfectly for me. Here's the link to my grow. Unfortunately, I probably won't be able to find the right plug where I am, which means I'll have to do it manually for the next week or so - until I harvest my current (1st) and have an empty grow cab.

Make One . Cut The Plug That Runs From The Base To The Light And Put Electrical Tape On The Wire Sticking Out Of The Base. Then Get A Lamp Chord And Splice The Two Togather And U Got A Chord That Is Exactly Like What We Are Using. This Is What I Was Going To Do Until I Realized I Didnt Have To.im Hi So Sorry For The Caps:d
