night temps
My buddy has a few plants in flowering right now. his temps during the day are real good at 77F at night though when he turns his light off. the temp got as low as 60F. will this cause a problem to the flowering of the plant or does it not matter that it gets cold at night. I dont know how big of a problem this is, because at night in the northeastern states during the summer it can reach lows like that.. ANy one have any input? ? ?

it really depends if the plant is Indica or Sativa... This wouldn't be good for a Sativa because they are use to being grown in warmer temps. So in that case, i would get a space heater to keep the temp up a little bit and have it on a timer that is opposite of the lights. Indica plants can grow better at lower temperatures than Sativas, and with most indica's sub-70 temps will produce purple buds.

yeah his stems are starting to turn puprple.. with this harm the plant???? or stunt bud growth ? ?
