Anyone see any problems or issues with using these products? They seem really cheap so I want to make sure they're good.

Notice the first link has a Reactor ballast and the second one has an HX ballast. Could someone explain the difference between these for me? Thanks.

Well i wont be much help im afraid; I am not a big fan of any of those. I would go with a .... dare i say, more professional brand/kind.

CAP makes a decent ballast and they are switchable HPS or MH with the same ballast. Spend a little more and get a whole ballast and power cord and stuff. If you're jsut starting out, you don't need to be dicking with a ballast kit or dangerously exposed capacitors and stuff.
