question about my friends plants leafs curling
my buddy has a plant thats about 1ft-1 1/2ft tall and the leafs are looking really really weird their a little discolored and the tips are downwards taco shaped but the back of the leafs are upward taco shaped this is mainly the big fan leafs that are the worse the little new leafs are just kinda weird looking i havent checked em out that much but i was seeing if anybody had any idea what could cause this

my guesses were ph is off or lights are just too dim (cfl's)....were going to test the pH this weekend and hes soon to get brighter lights

I would imagine what you are seeing there is ferts burn from the soil and/or the fert spikes. Fert spikes are no good because they create a "time release" sittuation which indoor weed can't usually handle. Your plants don't look all that bad so if you pull the spikes out it will be OK.

Looks a bit yellow to me. I had a similar problem recently. Have you done a ph run-off test?
