question on clones and time issues

greetings fellow GCers. Just a few questions about clones and time issues as I just started 4 plants of a new grow

One - If I were to take clones of any of these plants in lets say 4 weeks or so....how much time would that save me as opposed to starting new plants from seed. Any thoughts/experiences of this would be excellent.

Second - My current lease runs out in June. It would be great if they did 6 month leases or somethin but Im not so sure of that. This is my first apt. So I figure plants from start to end take about 3 months? Is this a reasonable estimate? Say vegging for 4-6 weeks or somethin? So when do you think I shouls start worrying about time issues as far as harvesting etc. goes. Curing wouldnt be a problem, just having the actual plants etc. I would plant more seeds now but I dont think my closet can handle more than 4. Ill have to double check that....

THANKS ALOT GC

it's not about saving time, it's just knowing that all the clones will be female, and not having to worry about the seedlings turning male. sometimes getting clones to root and start growing takes longer than starting seeds, not super common, but i have seen it happen.

you should have enough time if you start now

THANKS ALOT GC
just make sure it's not a sativa strain, that might take too long.
