Advise on a good strain to grow

I've just about got my first grow complete and now its time to get serious. I'm having a hard time trying to choose a strain and hoping some of you can give me some advise. I want a strain that gives an energetic high, I don't want couch lock or burn out weed. Of course something potent and I don't care how hard the thing is to grow, I'll figure it out. I can adjust the environment to whatever it requires that won't be an issue. Amount of time to harvest and yield are secondary, I want the best high I can get. I plan to have a mom and run about 5 harvests off her then move on to another strain. I do need a strain that isn't to potent in the smell department, I will have a good carbon filter system but I do live in an apartment so I have to be careful that way. I'll be growing 2 plants at a time, each plant will have a 21" x 23" area and will have 48" - 56" of height to grow, thats from the top of the medium to the bottom of the light. I'll be growing hydro using the scrog method.

Well if any of you know what I'm looking for let me know.

Also who would be the best to order from? I've been putting this off for a long time because I'm scared to order. Thanks for the help.

Always quality seeds 100% germination rate from my experience and I live on the east coast USA and get them in a week. Not bad at all.

In regards to specific strains, it all depends on what you want from your herb. I just bought satori and sadhu which are used medically to reduce depression and anxiety, two conditions I am currently suffering from. It all depends on what you want out of your herb. Do some research. You can usually find the type of high you get somewhere in the strain description.

I am growing white rhino right now and very impressed with it so far. I bought them off amsterdammarijuanaseeds.com last year as part of bigger order.

Odor hasn't been too bad though I vent to the outside and have hanging bags of activated charcoal in grow space.

I've read bad things about highgrade, only good about the doc, thats who I'll probably order from.

I guess my question should be, what are good sites for reviews on strains? I'm finding it very hard to choose, here's what I think I want but not sure about odor. Anyone know which out of these might be the lowest odor?

From what ive read about getting that really "up" and energetic high, check out Kali mist from serious seeds. Its said to have the best sativa head high out there. From what it seems indicas tend to have a more stoney, couch lock type high, and sativas have more of that cerebral, vivid awake high and kali mist is to make everything brighter, best to smoke in the daytime. I too prefer that kind of high over the more "stoned" and body high. Thing is its expensive ($200+ for a 10pack), and always seems to be out of stock. More of a stash strain than a commercial one, even though they say yields are high. And you wont be able to order direct from serious as they dont ship to U.S. if thats where your at. try and get it through one of the canadian banks. After a couple of grows with a cheaper strain like skunk #1 (also a good sativa up high) I plan on trying kali mist out.

Hey there, now I'm gearing towards kali mist, I have read quite a bit of good about it and it looks like its exactly what I want. I found some in Toronto but yeah there $280, they are from serious seeds. I'm a little short on cash these days, been spending it like I was growing it, so its making for a tough decision. Have you heard anything about the odor during growth? Any strain with the word skunk scares me.

Man I'm with you on the being scared of ordering. Good luck...I don't think I could do it. Best smoke I ever had was NL. Since it's an older classic strain I don't think it's expensive. Maybe give that a try.

Its scary for me because I don't have anywhere to ship them to other then my place and I don't want that. I have a good buddy in Toronto who I can trust, I'm going to have him go to the shop buy them with cash and then he can mail them to me. Only thing is all the seeds I want are very expensive with any seed bank in Toronto, they have there own which are reasonable but not in the strain I want. I don't care who the seeds are from so much as what strain I get. Lots of people do say good things about NL but not really what I'm looking for, I'm being really picky here.
