Bubbler setup

Has anyone tried this http://www.overgrow.com/article/12/1 If so I have some questions regarding this article even though its well written. One bucket is used as a controller and then there is another one a rubbermaid container acting as the reservoir. There are 7 individual air pumps to provide the 7 plants in buckets with O2. Then there is another water pump that will be used to drain. I unserstand everything except how nutrients from the controller comes into the individual buckets where the plants are..Can someone guide me in the right direction? Any help would be appreciated.

the control flows to others by gravity and concentration defusion. All water levels are same from all containers, hence the control will need to the same or greater height of other buckets. higher concentration chemicals have a tendency of moving to area of lower concentration levels, eventually becoming a equalibrium level in all buckets.

Thanks easygrower. I understand that, then why does it need a resevoir ? and where will so-called air pump be ? in the resevoir or the controller ?

the air stones needs to be where the plants are, the resevoirs. if it's a small grow (under 5), don't bother with a controller, it's easy enough to just change out water in each bucket once a week.

HIGH All, no the air pump provides the Bucket with oxygen. We do it differently we make our solution up in the Bucket and it gets new nutes and a cleaning every week. When cleaning the Buckets every week you have no chance of Alge buildup.

UNOIT, thanks but then what do u do with the Oxygen pumps that go into each bucket? If I understand u correctly, besides the Oxygen pumps that go disturb the water in the buckets, you need to have a air tube that supplies air into the buckets?
