Ive heard police helicopters look for pot plants with an infrared camera because they can be detected over other plants but do they only run during the summer or would they be out looking for indoor grows during the winter also? and is there anything that i can put over my grow box thats somewhat cheap to hide it?

Cop Choppers never really look for Indoor grows they just stumble upon them while in pursuit of fleeing criminals. If your temps are at 75-80 degrees I am pretty sure that your house temps are the same so the heat signature of your box would not even appear if they flew over your house with infa-red cameras on.

well its like and outdoor/indoors grow haha its in a brick barn that just used for storing stuff (with no heat inside) and its like 20 degrees out right now and thats the only thing thats using electricity in the barn right now

also this is an EXTEMELY boring area in the middle of nowhere kinda and theres never really been a cop chase but every once in a while the choppers come and and im not sure if they only do that in the summer or the winter too

Yeah I wouldn't even stress about it. Just worry about not telling to many people what you got going on and you should be safe. Good Luck Live Long and Smoke Well.
