Mite Attack !!! HELP !

Ive jus been feeding 1 of the plants......after adding the feed i lifted the pot to see if there was water coming out into the tray it was sitting on and there was,, along with a small pile of tiny white crawling things (Really tiny) looked like they just hatched or in a nest or something ?

Now i dont know where exactly they came from ?
Could have ran out of the soil as i watered ?
could have been on bottom of pot ?
or could have been in tray before i started (pretty sure they weren't)

I ran more water tru pot onto another tray and this time could only see 2 compared to the pile i saw the 1st time.

All i have is a bottle of spidermite control....

What should i do ?
Where should i look 4 them ?

I have checked the plant itself and cant find any sign of crawlies on it.

Yep, sounds like mites. Not sure what you need to get rid of them though.

anyways, check the bottom of the leaves and see if there are any little buggers on them, then let us know.

never mind you said you already did, dig around in the soil a little bit to see if there are any in there.

neem oil works good for pests, also unsalted garlic powder works too. id remove the top 2" of soil, (this is where fungus gnats lay their eggs), replace the 2" of soil w/ new soil. water w/ water w/ a few drops of dish soap. then sprinkle garlic powder on the soil surface. look at the top soil for larva or eggs, & both sides of leaves. keeping good air flow accross the top soil will help. spidermites look like this

Thanks for the quick response......cant find any sign of the buggers on the plant, YET. But ill check the soil when it drys a little.

In the meantime im gonna re-surface the floor of the growroom and all growroom stuff is now being sterilised.

Heres the plant about 5 seconds after i found critters,,,, I love her dearly and will do battle with these pests right until the bitter end !!!!!!

it wont hurt to try, if not neem oil will work, or dish soap water will suffacte them. just make sure u get the whole plant, & do it daily until they are gone. u can also take a sponge w/ soapy water & wipe off both sides of the leaves u can get too.

if they were spider mites you would have found them on the under sides of the leaves.

and i'm pretty sure the picture that was posted doesn't have any spider mites in the picture, it's just showing what they do to the plant.

There Teeeny tiny little white things,, when there bunched together thats pretty much what they look like......will check plant again 2morrow but have so far found nothing ?

Maybe their not spidermite........ if i do find more i'll take a close-up pic of them

what i was saying is, that picture above isn't a picture of the mites themselves, its a picture of what the mites did to the leaf.

I know that.... and what i was saying is that whatever came out of the pot "LOOKED" like that....I know its leaf damage......But when all these little white things are running around together thats exactly how they "LOOK" !!!!

oh gotcha, so the mites you have look exactly like the damage on that leaf.
were they moving? or were they eggs?
