Afghan X Original Haze

Hi all. This is my indoor grow after 1 week vegging and 4 weeks of flowering. Grown from clones. 600 Watt HPS, coco granulate as a medium and Advanced Nutrients fertilizers. Hand watered like growing on soil. Average plant hight: +3ft. Still 4 or 5 weeks to go.

Edit: if this should belong in the 'Plants & Bud Shots' section, please feel free to move this post.

Pure Sativa Preservation

Is it pure Haze? Because finding pure original Haze is rare and usually expensive. Not to many people have access to it because it's used for breeding purposes only. Most Haze is 50% Haze and 50% Skunk.

It's Afghan X Haze. I estimate the ratio, looking at the overall appearance and grow characteristics, at 30% Afghan and 70% Haze. The 4" clones grew more than 3 ft in 3 weeks which is a marker for a large number of Sativa (Haze) genes. Indeed I was lucky because they are usually very hard to get.

looking good. looks like your a strong believer in coco as a medium also. I just may have to try that for my next grow. did you veg the clone under the 600watt also? ive got a NLxHaze clone under a 1000 for the last week and I can't wait to flower her. i'm just hoping my moms in the dwc catch up.

Yes. Coco is great to work with. Water/oxygen management is excellent and you are in charge of the nutes because coco isn't pre-mixed. I use the dried, compressed bricks who have to be mixed with nutes solution. In stead of lugging 50 lbs bags around, which is a serious safety issue- you just put a few bricks in a shopping bag and you are good.
I did veg also under 600 watt HPS -still the best allround light source- and I have repot them once.

Do you think I can make a nice mix out of coco coir and aged horse manure? If so, what else do you recommend I add?

Thanks!

Difficult to say since I don't have experience with this kind of natural fertilizers but it could be a bit harsh for seedlings and clones. Hard to determine the right dosage too I think.
That's the main reason I always stick to special MJ nutes. I have tried almost all the available brands (Canna, House&Garden, Atami) but since a few years I stick with Advanced Nutrients from Canada. They have an excellent product line and the results are usually stunning.
