help pls!

my plans are 2 weeks old and the tips of the leaves are turning yellow what could be wrong what must i look into? help pls!

the first things that come to mind are:
  • over fertilizing
  • pH too high

thnx oldschool!

see the thing is im totally new at this so i need alot of advice i know i can look it up on the net but why not learn from ppl that already know what they doing! couple of qeustions i have! if my humidity is to low how do i raise it?
if my ph level is to high how do i lower it and if its to low how do i rise it? then im on a heavy budget for now ive got flourecsents in a cupbard of total wattage of 380 the cupboard is 1.6m wide 1.2 high and from front to back 600mm ive got a small exctractor fan and a air vent to get fresh air in! what more can i do! thnx for the help!
