matanuska valley thunder f*** anyone?

so i got this clone from a long time growing friend of mine. he claims it to be matanuska valley thunder fuck, but to the best of my knowledge that strain has long since died out. but who knows, i guess there's really know way to tell for sure. either way i've been growing the hell out of it and thought i would post a couple pictures of it to see what you guys thought?

and if i get enough interest i'll go a head and start a grow journal, bur for now just a couple pictures. i just started 12/12 a couple days ago. it's in coco mixed with some perlite. I'm using the lucas formula for nutrients with a little splash of cal-mag added in there, Ph'd to 5.7, ppm is at 935 right now. it's under a 1000w HPS, along with a few other plants, but i dont have pictures of them at the moment.

Looking at the pics, there buds are very small or there are non, therefore the smell would'nt be too bad at this point in time wait untill the buds have formed and then ask about the smell, big difference!

yeah as i stated before it just started 12/12 a couple days ago, so it's not even in flowering yet, no buds at all.

but it does smell, just not like bud. you know when you walk into a veg room and you get that certain smell from the plants? any one know what i'm talking about? like if i were to walk into some ones house that had vegging marijuana plants in it, i would totally be able to smell it even if they weren't flowering.
