I have 6 600watt electronic ballasts/reflectors, each illuminating a 4x4 area with 16 plants in this area, 1 per square foot. With an 8x12 area, 96 plants, and 6 600 watt lights, what kind of turnover can i expect presuming perfect environment conditions?

Is it true that you only get a gram/watt if grown well?

Whats better... 6 600watts or 4 1000 watts for 80 plants?

No if you're setup is perfect for your particular strain you can yield more. I cant remember who it was but they were getting 2.5g/watt (around there) but they've been growing for many many years and have perfected their setup.

But either way... with your setup that's still a lot of weed. And also depening on if you LST, top your plants, SoG or ScrOG.

well in a spot like he has LST wont be much of an option. anytime you have that many plants you want to stay uniform as possible and scrogging 96 plants would be out of this world, ive never seen it, most ive seen was 76. with his type of grow i would imagine he would go SOG for the simple fact that he has 1 sq ft per plant to work with here. but also like Konon said 1g per watt is not the best it gets, just gotta get it dialed in

Strain is a main factor how much the plant will produce.

But a solid estimate would be 1 OZ. per plant 96 plants = 96 oz. = 6 pounds

However that is just reasonable guess, If you have a large yielding strain this could be doubled or tripled when grown correctly.

And stick with the 6 600's this will give you better light distribution.

Anymore than that and you are doing fantastic.
