Nute question! Possible suicide?

okay so i have 2 kinds of nutes and im wondering what i should use

i have one that is 24-8-16
and one that is 10-52-10

i am about a week and a half into flowering

first one is miracle grow in low doses and my plant has responded phenominally to it (i know you guys hate MG) buti have no gardening shop within an hours drive of here and im stuck til i can make the trip

second one i havent used yet and am interested in how it would respond

annnd if i should use it
could i mix the two (in very low doses) to acheive a higher N&K or is that a terrible idea?

would i see burn even in low doses?

this is my post from last night showing current stage and growth
take a look and hit me with some feedback if you have any
like i said before
i am no expert and im here to learn

first of all, put this question in your grow thread.

second, do yourself a HUGE favor and invest in any type of EC or PPM meter. and go for a PH meter while you're at it. they are both widely available online. with it, you know exactly how strong your nutrient solution is. and you also use it to test the run off water so you'll know how strong the nute solution to use when you water.

as for the miracle grow, people talk shit on the miracle grow because the soil medium has these time release fertilizers which usually end up OVER-fertilizing the plant which means you get nute burn. BUT it sounds like you're talking about a liquid MG fert, not MG soil so you should be okay.

use the second nute and that's it...but those numbers are only ratios, not how strong the solution is. the strength of the solution is entirely up to you and can only be accurately monitored by a (guess again) EC/PPM meter.

good luck dude

here's an example of a nute strength guide over the grow phase... it seems to be taylored to the advanced nutrients products, but it's still a very good generic recipe for success. check it out.

fish tank ph tester is fine. i never heard of one that checks ppm too though so that's all you need now.

u dont want n for flowering at all . u probably have enough n buildup in the soil 2 last the rest of it s life. I suggest u feed only p & k unless u want stringy, bad tasting/ burning weed. extra N prohibits the bud from maturing , spaces the buds farther apart instead of being close and compact & gives the flower a leafy/ nute taste.

i was answering his question, he asked if it was a good idea to achieve higher N for flowering.

u need ecc meter for a good reading on your chemicals
mix what you think is right and check its ecc you want it 1.5-1.8 no higher no lower
1.8 is high 1.5 is low so also you wanna know a professional secret dont telll anybody...lol.... but its good to do a flush once every 2 weeks you dont want salt build up in ur medium so a good flush will do you numbers you dont want to guess whats going on in ur soil you want to know and by know i mean KNOW FOR SURE whats going on down there if salt sticks around too long itll become a problem during harvest
