dude to be honest unless uve grown before speaking from EXPERIENCE here its not worth growing 1 plant u want to grow minimum 2 because 1 could fuck up along the way or something and well your always paying for electricity and its expensive these days :\ u can try it out if u want but id suggest do an outdoor grow first and see how that goes it gives u a feel of things just IMO..

if u want to go ahead with it then go for it but yes 1 plant .

uve put the seed in the soil now put cling wrap over it to make it air tight the seed doesnt want air untill its sprouted and yes keep it room temp.

in 2 days it should have poped out of the soil remove the cling wrap and put it under the light but no MH or HPS only fluro or in the shade outside its very sensitive. Fluro lights work best for seedlings.

like most said if its 2X2 just one plant.

or you could opt to put as many pots as you can in there and do a miny SoG or SCRoG it and see what happens.

You have the square footage to grow up to 4 plants with substantial training, but getting them in that footprint could be difficult. I can grow 4 big plants in a 2.5x2.5 space, and that leaves a few inches all the way around that you don't have. I suggest you try using large rectangular kitty litter bins as pots, they are tall and narrow which allows a lot of root volume in a small footprint, plus their square/rectangular shape leaves no wasted space in between like circular pots do.

You definitely can do 2 plants in there. You could do 3 if the square footage were laid out a little differently, you still might just experiment a bit.

Try to get those temps down a bit more. That space probably will be warmer when full of plants (all those leaves will slow down airflow a bit).

I'd got for 4 plants personally. No topping, no LST'ing just straight growing 4 plants. You could fit 4 half decent size pots in there. But you will need to upgrade the light to a 400w HPS or something like that once you start flowering.
