Starting a 12/12, need help

What are some good strains that work well with 12/12 from seed that have big colas and such? Im looking for an 8 or 10 weeker.

What is a recommended size diameter pot to use rockwool in for 12/12 grows? I'm not sure if 8"diameter is the smalles I can go or can I bring it down to 6?

I'm going to be doing this staggered 12/12 from clone grow in a converted cabinet. For a 8 week plant I will either have a setup like one of the following (numbers are what week the plant is in)

(2)(4)(6)(8)
(2)(4)(6)(8)

If I've got a 10 week plant it will be like

I'm just showing the layout inside the cabinet that I will use.

I will be clipping the lower 1/3 of the plant so that the plants will have room and there won't be any overcrowding also eliminating popcorn buds.

In Al B Funct's thread he has 40 of these 12/12 plants under 1 1000w hps and thats the only like he uses. That equals out to 25W per plant. I need to figure out which layout I can use so please, the bucket question is what I need to know.
