taming a scrog question

so when a bud site starts growing through the screen and getting to close to the light(my first bud site is about 3 inches through the screen) How do you get it down with all the rest? Im currently about a week away from 12/12 its the main cola thats geting too high.

Dude, you don't just put the screen there for shits and giggles.. it's there to trellace the budsites through, essentially your increasing growth auxins in the smaller budsites to equal that of the main cola. You can't do this though without holding back the growth that passes through the screen. You must push that cola back down preferebly in an area of the screen that is empty, when you do all the little nugs of that main cola will veg out and in time be their own cola... One thing I've learned with scrogs too man is if you want the yield they can offer, you have to veg the plant until the canopy is FULL of budsites... Otherwise you'll get less than satisfactory results..
