Grow closet layout help.

Ok this is the layout of my room. I plan on doing the grow in the little section up in the top left corner, which is a closet. The dotted line is a wall that is not there yet that i have to build. The yellow part is what is already there. It will be a 5x5 foot square when I am done. The red line will be the divider between the two parts. One side will be the flowering room the other side will be vegging. How many plants could I fit in each side?

I was estimating 6 plants on each side, even though I could fit as many as 10. If I was to use CFLs how many would I need? Also if I was to use HPS would a 600 watt be ebough?

50watts per plant, give or take. If your growing rooms are going to be 2 1/2x5x8, it'd be plenty of room. You could have more too. Maybe your cloning area should be on the top of your grow space. It would stay warmer that way.

I have said it before, be careful of how much wattage you are running. You don't want to exceed your wiring's capacity. and make sure to keep an eye on your temperatures. Ventilation. If you grew 8 or less on each side a 400w HPS on one side and a 400w MH on the other would probably be good for you. I would just use a one light setup with a clone room up above, myself.
