Unhappy Wierd top...

This is stumping me. The top cola on this girl looks like it went back into veg for some reason. The picture below is actually from my last harvest (camera is dead, but same situation as now) which did have some light difficulties with the timers and could possibly have thrown them off. This current room has not had any difficulties whatsoever and as far as I know, we've been spot on with everything. Has anyone ever seen something like this? It is happening to about four or five of my plants out of a 45 plant setup and just occurs to the top bud. The bottom of the cola fills out nicely as well as the lateral branch buds. Im hoping it is just getting ready to fill that portion out, but im not sure. We are currently in week 5 of flowering. Any help would be dynamite. Thanks

dont worry mate its just fattening up, if you notice your other colas there excactly the same its natural in some strains for colas to form from bottom to top when ripening,so no worries bud

& by the way nice looking plants what strain is it?

motorheed is probably right they look like they could just be gaining weight.
But it is possible to re-veg a plant. If you put the lights back to 24/0 new growth is possible but you would have to leave your lights on 24/0 for a while in order for that to happen.

its our very own strain. We call it tallycali. a buddy had brought back a random strain from california and mixed it with a tallahassee native strain, grunk. the result was our TallyCali!

Its probably too hot. Its closer to the light then every other top so its getting most heat. The leaves look like they are curling upward at the tips which would mean its too hot. Thats my guess from the pic i could be wrong but that would make sense. Less bud comes with too much heat. Try raising your light

yeah it looks like its getting abit stressed from the heat of your lamp corsing it to strech and have that look as if its vegging abit. also some different makes of nutrients can help to give a more compact bud

The light definitely is not too close, we have it about a foot away from the tops and they are ventilated on movers as well. Im going to take a picture of the actual plant today (like i said, that picture was from last harvest when many things went wrong) and post it up hopefully soon. We are using Pure Blend Pro Grow/Bloom during veg/flower respectively. Has anyone else had this problem with Pure Blend before? I have heard only great things about it and have personally never been let down by it. I appreciate everyone's input!
