Quick Humidity Question......
10 plants, 3.5 wks old, 3-4 inches tall, all on 3rd set of leaves, some beginning 4th.
Up to this point, we've used a pot of water w/ a sponge dipped in it and a fan blowing on it to increase humidity. From a physics standpoint, this must raise the humidity because of capillary action and evaporation, but we have nothing to measure the humidity of the room or how this method effects it.
I got a small humidifier that can be put in the room, and intend on doing that tonight.
Question is-- at what point do i have to allow the humidity to become lower... I know its good to let it get dry during flowering, but is it GOOD to have high humidity throughout the entire veg process?
The plants are healthy, and we keep very good track of them, but i know for a fact that these can be growing faster, and any advice you might have is appreciated.
Just sick of seeing people have plants that are the same age as ours that are a foot tall already, when we have such a decent setup (400 hps hortilux; 320 in CFLs; mylar; outside-air intake and exhaust; foxfarms/promix soil mixture; distilled water)
