Bud Pics of CAB grow, 400w HPS, clones...enjoy

Hello Guys,

Here are some bud pics from my recent grow. The grow is an indoor cabanit powered by a 400 HPS bulb and a separate chamber for clones and such. In the cab are 2 strains :

And all plants were clones selected from the original 20 seed I bought. The were both topped and LSTed hence the bushy style of the grow.

The NTH X BIG takes an extra 2 weeks to flower, ill post harvest pics as well as flower pics in 2 or so weeks time.

The bud close ups are of the Aurora type and are close to harvest. They will receive no more water and haven’t been feed for about 1 and a half weeks. The brown spots are from heat (hitting summer here in OZ) if you are wondering.

looking tasty! how many plants have you flowered at once under that 400watt hps? how was the yeild also?

this is my second grow i have gotten to flower under this light. max plants i have had is the current 4.

yeild im not sure about but i will post it. it will be dry weight (harvested) in grams.

Awesome dude!!!! So thats only 4 plants right there? Good god it looks lovely. I have 18 plants under a 1k light so i cant wait to see the results!!! And from judging the bud developement based on plants ive seen in the past 10 or so years, im thinking im gonna get that easily. I hope! Tell me what yout hink about them. Oh, i got my silver pearl, jock horror, and durban poison from nirvana. I heard some people saying they werent so good, but i got my seeds 12 days after i send the money. So that included the time it took for my mail to get to them. And the prices are unbeatable.

How tall are your plants in those pictures from yesterday? Lookin good!
For your LST did you use a string or something to hold them down?--since I don't see any chicken-wire type setup.

Hello Booch,

The plants are about 50 cm (half a meter) tall.

In terms of how these plants came into being, here we go.

They started life as cuttings from vegging plants (in rockwool under a humidity dome). After about 7 or so days, roots took hold and technically, I could have put them right into flower and they would have likely grown to about 40 cm tall.

The problem I had was the flowering had not yet completed so I began my "training'.

First off, I butchered the main growing tip(s) by pinching them with my fingers.....I heard this can cause some strange growth and I had time so I did. To be honest, it made no difference compaired to regular topping, just took longer to heal.

After leaving for 4 or so days, I pulled down the 3 or so main growing tips on each plant and tied it to the main stalk with these green twist things. Finally, after another week of growing I topped all gorwiing tips on the clones. This is why my plant has many smaller top cola's....which is what I was going for so im quite happy.

Of course, this is not nessasary but since I had time, I experimented and I have about doubled my last harvest. Last harvest was from seed though and although I do take my grow seriously, I dont push it the 'maximum bud every time'....probably coz I dont attach dollar signs to my grow.
