which is better i think white is more convenent for me tho i was gonna use wither white sticker paper or photo paper i need input on this and also input on your personal germinate roteins

Mylar reflects more light than flat bright white.

I thought tests proved the other way around?

Either way i bet the difference is minimal, and flat, white paint is MUCH easier to work with.

I've always heard that flat bright white reflects about 85% whereas mylar reflects about 92%. There was a chart floating around the internet with light reflectivity of different surfaces, but damned if I can find it now.

I agree, though, that the difference may not be worth the cost and effort to put up mylar.

dont use paper. use paint. mylar is the more reflective than white, however a few coats of flat titanium while will get the job done just as well for cheaper

I have actually found that the best thing to do is paint the grow room/box white then apply mylar over that and you get the best of both worlds.

To tell the truth, It doesn't matter much. It is nothing really in it. Cost wise go with flat white paint.

You can buy big sheets of mylar here for around 1.50$ I mean, like reflection alone is based off the lights you have, so really it won't even matter, its just a factor of keeping all the light inside the grow area.

I vote for personal reference on what whomever thinks is the easier way..

Little tip is to add a anit fungal/mold additive like moldex to your paint when u apply it, use the flat white paint with this additive and get growing brother
