haha, i wish i got the all in one kit...mine was just by itself, for a whole 1.65 i think. i bought 2 bags of soil and twisty tie stuff for less than 10 bucks.

DOnt go straight into 12/12 because it may stress the plants into males, or hermi's. Gradually do less and less light, even if it is for a couple days. goodluck on ur grow!!!

im pretty clear on the overall light cycle, i just wanted some pointers on light cycle for fresh cut clones, right into 12/12 or is it best to give it 24 hrs of light off the batt to help with root production?

Honestly This whole 24/0 stuff is not necessary. If you want you're clones to take root just do the cloning correctly (Sterilized blade, 45 Deg. Angle cut etc.) and if you plan on having you're clones flower immediately use 12/12 otherwise always 18/6 the idea of doing 24/0 is ineffective in my mind because nature is never on 24 hours light (except Alaska in some times of year) ANYWAY! You're plant looks great as is and is still very young so cloning at this point seems trivial to me, cloning a larger more mature plant along in the veg. state is a better plan. But if you want those nodes go ahead. Good luck!

PAGreen: should i attempt to clone when the plant is a certain age or rather, a certain size? i guess i need substantial size to cut first, most of the branches are only a few inches if not just an inch long. im going to take a picture of one solitary branch and hopefullly someone can show exactly where i would make a cut to have myself a clone (when that time comes).

expect some pictures in the next few hrs.

Yeah you've got a little ways to go both in maturity and actual height until you should clone. I know it gets exciting with the idea of having multiple clones of you're beauty but also its good to sex the plant as well...Cloning guys isnt the best choice. Waste of time, energy, and soil. So keep on Truckin' man patience is key to growing. I'll be pullin up a chair to watch this one....

today is the end of week 7 since sprout. i love taking pictures so here are more.

here is the best shot i could get of one of the main branches. there are about 8 of these branches throughout the plant. someone describe (maybe MS Paint it) using the picture where clones are taken...sorry for the clueless-ness.

Nice healthy growth now cupcheck! I'm trying it for 1st time, but if you want to sex the plants, take a cutting and put it on 12/12, and it should show in 2wks, no need for the cutting to root unless you want to grow it on. You might be lucky and see preflowers in veg.
I've got to agree with the others, get the lights as close as poss to the plants. I veg with tubes (cooler) but I let the plants grow right up to the tube. You might need to use a fan, but that's a good idea anyway.

after some nice new growth over the last 2 days, i readjusted all the ties and everything looks really good. it is a really nice dark green color all the way around, just looks really healthy. i think the slow release fertilizers in the soil are taking effect now. there are 6 huge branches tied down, another small one, and about 3 or 4 more just lurking around untied. this thing is going to be loaded, i can only imagine how much bud it could produce in the end; hope it be female :/
