Question Drying method question..

alright so next summer i will be growing roughly 5 plants outside.. but thats not waht my question is about..

i live with my parents and the only place on my property i will be able to hang dry without them smellin it is in my shed.. there is no air circulation but that can easily be produced with some battery powered fans. my question: is drying plants in a shed during the month of october a good idea or not? if not, what other ideas of drying can you reccomend?

i just wanna be prepared
thanks to everyone who replies!

You basically want the temperature to be at around 60-70; and humidity at around 40-50%
If you can replicate this in that shed then you should be ok, just make sure fresh air gets to them, after a week you can put them in glass jars and keep them in the house; just open the lid once a day to let fresh air in.

another method would be cuttin it into smaller buds and putting it into a brown paper bag... does this method release a lot of scent? if not i can do it in my crawl space

the best way to get humidity levels up is use a room humidifier and if u can run power to the shead that would be alot better because then you can plug in space heaters as well to keep the heat levels constant in the shead

Hmidity

You can get little plastic containers that are full of silica crstals.

you put them in the room that you need to reduce humidity in e.g. bathroom to stop paint peeling from the steam from the shower!

Definitely Dy them out in brown paper bags that is highly recommended.

Peace out

the silica works, I used damprid, its cheap and it will get rid of humidity.
paper bags will work, but I think it dryes them too fast.
You want your bud to cure slowly for best results.
Put strings across a cardboard box and hang them in there for a couple of days, just open a small whole on the side of the box so air can flow, once the stems snap, put them in glass jars.

You could make a curing box, this is how im plannin on curin mine(i too need to be consious of smells). You can use a large cardboard box or find a suitable wooden box. All you need to do is get a small computer fan, and make yourself a simple charcoal filter to take care of the smell, mount the fan, filter rig at one end of the box, and cut a whole out in the other end for a air intake. This should slowely cure your buds and take care of the smells.
