I've been looking around the growers forum and I've noticed that no one on this site seems to be low stress training. Is there a problem associated with this? Becasaus i've been thinking about growing and was going to LST. so any answers would be appreciated thanks GC

There is a wonderful sticky about LST. To my newbie knowledge there aren't any problems other then ones of accidents and not being careful. Some people just dont want to try it because they dont have space restrictions, are new and dont wanna monkey with something like that...

I reccomend reading up on LST'ing, topping and fimming. These are all stickied and should answer any questions you have on them.

Now i am a newbie but i have seen hard evidence of how LST'ing can increase yields quite a bit so i would definetly reccomend looking into them for your grow. I know i am

My current crop, I have Topped, LST, and Topped all the tips again in about 3 week period. If time permits, I always LST.

I support LST 100%. It's simple and very effective. If you do most of your bending when the plant is relatively dry it will be more limber and much less likely to snap than if it was recently watered.

Yeah mate i'd try it works really well i've only just started LST on a crop just cut last week and the buds were enourmous just a nice canopy of large bud i'd say don't top the plant as you'll loose out in the long run if you bend them right every branch including the very bottom ones will hold a huge bud without the need to chop off the prize bud of any plant don't you think? LST Is The way forward especialy if you don't have much room and want that extra yield. PEACE OUT PEOPLE

i just did some reading up on LST and im very interested in doing it. Ive seen some pictures of it after the plant has grown and it looks amazing, with a thick stalk and a lot of leaves

I fimmed mine bent the stalk 90 degrees until I wanted to flower and left the string right behind the top node so it could grow back up. I haven't touched them since.

The 2 in the back were fimmed and the front left was just fimmed with no lst. The front right is stunted for some reason and ended up with 4 main colas. The 2 other have 6-11 colas each.

And each one is sure he wont get hooked, they think theres still a future. Within a year half of them will be on the hard stuff, a next year 3 out of every 10 will be dead.
