well its an old school blower fan i think we can all agree on that...
probably used for cooling high grade electronics equipment perhaps? havent seen anything of that kind of design in a long time so who knows, its definitely showing some age, which makes it all the more difficult to identify
good call on snapping the label pic! from that we can establish that its a 12 volt dc device
so whatever its gonna do itll do when you slam it with..you guessed it, 12 volts at about 1.5 watts (im guessing, i ASSUME it isnt 15 watts lol)
as for wiring it up? no idea why there are so many dang wires for a blower.... maybe the extras are for a switchable power supply that was made for that specific device.... not sure
i do know that RED is positve(+) and BLACK would naturally be negative(-)
HOWEVER it seems like theres a stripped wire you're holding up which would lead me to believe it would be the electrical ground (negative) but im not sure. if you happen to have any 12vdc 1.5 watt power supplies try hooking it up to JUST the black and red wires (negative and postive, respectively) and it should spring to life assuming it hasn't shuffled off this mortal coil in its years of unuse.
hope that helped
