Just want to grow 1 plant

I need some help deciding some things. I just want to grow 1 or 2 plants and hope to hell its a female.

Now, I am planning on using CFLs because I dont want to shell out a ton of money for a hobby. However, how many of each kind would I need for one plant?

Also, on to the main subject. I need a growroom! What is an effective grow room for one plant that I can easily make?

Thanks.

Also, what method is good for begginers?

Ok I got the lights im hoping

(5) Compact Fluorescent - 42 Watt - Warm White 2700k - TCP
(2) Compact Fluorescent - 42 Watt - Full Spectrum 6500k - TCP

Is that enough for two plants for starters? I dont wanna overkill it and dont need much more wattage.

Now, I need a growbox that will fit two plants and what kind of method should I use? LST? Keep in mind I've never grown before.

Thanks.

Do you have a place with some room and height or do you need to do a micro grow.

I nice sized rubbermaid tote would probably work for you, but dont forget about ventilation.

LST would work in an area where height is a concern.

I highly recommend growing at least two plants to increase your chances of getting a female.

Is that 5 cfl's? You can grow a plant w/ one medium cfl if you have a good reflector. Plant 2-3 to get a female. Deep pots. Keep a fan on 'em. Small closet is fine. Study and u can figure out the rest.

So If I just wanted to grow lets say 2 in a rubbermaid tote, and I take care of ventilation and everything? How many of each CFL for Vegetative and Flowering will I need?

Edit: Also, what kind of feminized strain should I order for my first grow? I really like a heavy sativa, but Ice looks amazing too.

I would recommend Cinderella 99. It is a great trippy head high and fairly easy to grow.
You will need to lst in a rubbermaid.

Cfl I would say as many as you can put in there while maintianing a decent temperature. I think I have seen successful grows with 4-5 lights in there.

I would search the forums there are a few good grow journals from rubbermaid grows.

I mean, I can handle a few cfls and vents. The rubbermaid looks pretty easy. And C99 looks perfect. Is it true that it shows sex early, and is amazingly strong? They said you can mess up on it and it still won't become a hermie.
