I normally jar them up and them check on them in a few hours.. alot of the time they will go from crispy to real wet given that the moisture draws out of the stem to the outside.. I often take them out again for a few hours and then throw them back in there.. I usually do this two or three times to get all the moisture out of the stem(them snapping) and the nug evenly dry, but not crispy.. you'll find they cure better with not SO much moisture..
