| Re: White Widow Grow- Generic Potting Soil vs. Miricle Grow
It's skunky bagseed, I have the moisture control junk you mentioned specifically. Now have 4 sprouts, and just picked up some organic fert. free potting soil I'll mix with some sphangum moss and perlite. as a side note, had to shoot from the hip with lighting, had to go get several CFL's due to the fact that my brand new 400w hps digital ballast shorted out 3.4 seconds after plugging it in last Thursday . I'm hoping the new one will be here by Christmas Eve day. But the sprouts look OK themselves. I have them in plastic cups and have 3 ga. pots waiting for them so I think today i'll mix my new soil and transplant the sprouts after flushing copiously.

Yeah or just get rid of all the MG soil and transplant into new soil.

Problem is hydro doesn't have the rich taste of soil.

Smkin... I am in no way discounting your experiences...I have read and continue to read and learn lots from you... it just constantly amazes me how different peoples' experiences are.. I have a Nirvana (not gypsy/not fem)WW mom I have had around awhile,.. she isn't nute sensitive at all.. In fact i added all the Foxfarm nutrients at half strength..and all the solubles at full....I wish my kids hadn't broken my camera...Hopefully i can get some good pics soon, and post them up,.. I jus started my first grow journal... stop by in like 3 weeks for pics! I do agree about the taste factor with soil..much better and fuller tasting..
